The Bish Magazine

Conceptualised, written and created here at the Douglas nerve centre, The Bish magazine is put together for local people, by local people, in and around the Bishop’s Stortford area. Designed to within an inch of its life, and printed on paper stocks best-suited to champion our features’ photography and copy, we’re very proud of this new addition to our flock. It’s our hope the magazine will offer something very different to the residents of our diverse town and raise the profile of the community and businesses who have worked tirelessly to survive the pandemic and come out the other side. It’s also given us the opportunity to enjoy some free rein with design, photography and copywriting, and to have some fun while putting in a shedload of blood, sweat and tears. A showcase for the myriad of things we’re capable of at Douglas Heights, if you will.
